About the Role
As a Certified Electrician, you will:
> Lead installations, commissioning, and repairs of EVSE
> Perform code-compliant electrical work and site energization
> Conduct preventive/corrective maintenance and electrical testing
> Troubleshoot power delivery, wiring, and charging components
> Mentor technicians and provide electrical oversight in the field
> Ensure all work complies with NEC and OSHA standards
Compensation: $28–$42/hr (DOE), plus benefits (health insurance, PTO, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, PPE & tools provided).
Core Responsibilities:
> Interpret and work from site drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
> Perform electrical testing such as insulation resistance (megger), continuity, and torque verification.
> Install and terminate conduit, wiring, breakers, and panels as required by the project scope.
> Execute corrective repairs, including cabling, grounding, and replacement of electrical components.
> Complete digital service reports, documenting all work performed.
> Maintain compliance with OSHA and state-specific safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
> Conduct on-site safety assessments and ensure safe working conditions for all personnel.
Requirements
Journeyman-level state electrician license (Required)
2+ years of experience as an electrician (commercial/industrial)
Strong understanding of NEC and OSHA standards
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and site plans
Solid troubleshooting skills for power electronics
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel in the assigned region
